Good tour to the equator
Nomad51244016596, 09-01-2023
The minibus takes you to 2 places. The first place is the big monument. We did not pay to get in but just got a picture from the sidewalk which was OK because it is not the true equator location. The second stop you pay a $5 entrance fee to the museum and the entire van group gets a very nice tour. It has the true location of the equator and you can take pictures. I thought the guided tour of the museum was very good. Also free bathrooms at the museum.
Fun trip

Very efficient and well priced. The view from the rooftop of the community hostel is spectacular. Responsive and excellent communication via WhatsApp.
Good shuffle bus

Like the experience but i think would be better to give more time for mitad de mumdo (30min is not enough)

Great transportation, on time and was a fun trip to both locations. Pick up was at a hostel in the cultural part of the city with a beautiful view and very friendly staff. The museum was fun and very interactive.
The best walking tour, ever

This is by far the BEST walking tour I have been on. The tour guide Diego is very knowledgeable about Quito. I have learned a lot from listening to him. The tour is well planned and well executed. This 3-hour trip felt like 30 minutes because it went so smooth and there was no dull moment at all. We were given crucial information at the rooftop of the community hostel. The first stop was Mercado Central- we learned about the herbs, local food and ended at a fruit stand where the fruit lady gave us a lot of local and “exotic” food to taste. There were plenty of opportunities for people to rest throughout the tour. We were sitting in a comfortable place that’s not noisy every time there was a “lecture” about history of Quito or key information about the country. So we didn’t miss any information and the guide didn’t have to use a loud speaker. This made the experience so much more enjoyable. In conclusion, this walking tour must be the first item on your agenda when visiting Quito. In fact, all the staff members at the community hostel have been extremely kind and helpful. They really have gone out of their ways to help. We decided to use their service for all the trips in Quito. 100%, A++, 10/10!
