Eatin’ Sippin’ and talkin’ with Daniella.

Daniella was a fantastic guide who took us on quite a walking/eating tour of Quito. She answered many of our questions on Quito history and what it’s like to live there. Her spirit and love for her country was contagious! We were very thankful she was our guide for the day.
The best way to experience authentic Ecuadorian food.

This tour is definitely worth the price. Ernesto, our guide, was terrific. He speaks excellent English and Spanish. He is a cook and restaurant owner (Guero Guey). As two retirees from Texas, we wanted to sample authentic Ecuadorian food. We are a fan of food tours and have done them all over the world. This was by far the best. We went to 7 different venues. Places I would have been reluctant to try on my own only because I don't know the area or the safety of the food. Everyplace we went was wonderful. We didn't just get samples, They gave us full portions everywhere. My partner and I shared our plates because it was too much for one person. We walked a lot and the sidewalks in Quito are not well maintained and it is very hilly. It was good that we are hikers and in good condition. This is not a tour for people who have bad knees or foot problems. But if you want a great food adventure, this is a good choice and worth the money.

Quito Street Food Tour-Terrific
Colleen S, 24-12-2022
Ernesto was a terrific tour guide! His knowledge of Quito and love of food is palpable. Ernesto showed us all sides of diverse Quito with a passion for street art. We enjoyed the off the beaten path restaurants which we never would have found on our own. He was interesting and able to keep 2 teenagers engaged, which is no easy task!

A great way to see the city.
Ernesto knows the food scene! Take this Tour!

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Quito, and especially in your first couple of days in the city. Ernesto not only takes you to some delicious spots he also is well versed in a lot of history. He takes you to the places we often do not get to see or overlook. You will be STUFFED with awesome food! So come empty. I'm still dreaming about some of things we ate. Also, be prepared to do some walking. You may be walking up and down hills, but that just makes room for food. Thanks Ernesto, lovely to meet you.
