What To Expect

Illiniza Ecological Reserve

Early in the morning we head south of the city by the Avenue of Volcanoes so called since, if the weather allows us, we can observe hills and volcanoes like the Pasochoa, the Heart, the Ilinizas among others until we reach the Cotopaxi National Park, where we will visit the Interpretation Center, here our guide will explain and answer all your questions, after knowing more about the history and curious facts about the Volcano, the adventure continues to walk until arriving at 4862 m.s.n.m. height to which is the Refuge José Ribas, in which a few steps (if the weather allows it) you can appreciate the snow of the Volcano..

On the way back our transport will be waiting for you to go to a historic hacienda where we can have lunch, to finally visit a rose plantation and see, with entrance included, how the best flowers in the world are produced.
