Chocolate fun!

This was such a wonderful experience! Upon arrival, Jorge met us at the gate and escorted us in. Jorge and his beautiful family welcomed us into their home. After a brief explanation, we toasted the seeds. While the seeds cooled, Jorge made us a local drink (alcohol optional). Then we peeled and ground the seeds. Finally added some condensed milk and sugar under light heat. Then we got to try our delicious chocolate on different fruits. This was an experience we will always remember!

Jorge was fantastic. The minute we booked this activity he contacted me via WhatsApp to confirm everything. He made sure we knew exactly how to get to his place for the activity. We got stuck in traffic, but Jorge was very accommodating. He walked us through all of the steps needed to make the chocolate from the coco beans and also served us an excellent drink at the start. We did all of the steps....and when we left we felt we could do this at home. He also provided us with a number of fruit options for dipping into the chocolate. Finally, Jorge gave us a tremendous restaurant recommendation for us to eat at after our chocolate making experience. The whole experience was well worth it!! I would give him 6 stars....but 5 is the max!

This was a surprisingly delightful experience. I highly recommend this activity. It was quite enlightening on things you never knew about cocoa.

The whole experience was WAY beyond my expectations. Jorge is a welcoming host and we had "hands on" every step of the chocolate making way. He even gave us a lovely local drink to start off the event.

The only downside was now that I know how easy it is to make home-made dark chocolate, I fear for my waistline :).

I definitely recommend this event for adults and kids (minus the drink).

Jorge was a great host. the demonstration was in his own home. he gave me the history of making chocolate and then we actually made chocolate. we taste it with various other ingredients like different fruits, spices and liquor. highly recommend this class
