Overview
The volcano is located in the Chimborazo fauna production reserve. It is considered the highest mountain in Ecuador and the closest to the sun, with dreamlike landscapes that invite us to dream higher just by looking at each other.
Our tour begins in Quito where we will venture to explore the trails of the imposing Chimborazo with our professional guide. The altitude of its summit is 6310 meters above sea level, a nice challenge for lovers of mountaineering, however on our tour we can explore and enjoy up to 5100 meters above sea level.
There is a mystical lagoon called Cóndor Cocha next to the summit of the volcano. We cannot forget that here we will find paramo flora and fauna of the area such as the vicuña, a kind of camelid. After this, we will descend to the parking lot to finish our adventure around this beautiful and imposing volcano.
After the adventure, the adrenaline and a lot of joy we will end our tour in Quito

Ahora bien, me resultó decepcionante el supuesto "malentendido" suscitado en el sentido de que, pese a que tanto en la publicidad en el respectivo sitio electrónico como en el comprobante de mi reservación, se indicó de forma expresa que el tour incluía un descenso en bicicleta, durante aquel se me indicó que eso no se me podría brindar porque se trata de un servicio complementario. De hecho, ante la evidencia que le exhibí al guía, este solo atinó a decirme que lo lamentaba, pero no podía hacer nada al respecto.
Sin embargo, la amabilidad del guía Esteban y del conductor Santiago fue excepcional.
