Stunning hikes, amazing hostels & superb guide!

This was my first ever group trip, normally I travel with friends and more spontaneously - so I wasn't sure what to expect, but AJ managed to blow any of my preconceptions out the water!

We had a super easy going group, and Jorge our guide was a fantastic addition to the team. At no point did it feel like he was just a guide being paid to take us around, but more like a friend showing us his favourite spots.

His passion for his job and his country is infectious, and we couldn't help but be swept up in his excitement for every trek/view - even though he's seen and done them all thousands of times!

The trekking was the right level of tough whilst still being enjoyable, and the stunning places we stayed at were perfect to recover - with evenings being just as memorable as the days!

I also have to shout out our driver Andres who was a joy to be around, and has been awarded the title of happiest man in all of Ecaudor! The pair of them always went the extra mile to ensure everyone was happy & having a good time, making an already incredible trip so much more enjoyable, thanks guys!
Fantastic way to see the Ecuadorian Andes

Too many highlights to choose just one! Quilotoa and the Yellow Lagoon were magical though.
Physically and mentally demanding, but well worth it for the dramatic scenery.
Brilliant guides, and a really nice group of fellow hikers.

Great trip, Jorge was an outstanding guide. The hikes were strenuous but made worthy by the great views. The accommodations were fantastic.
Amazing All Around

This was, by far, the best trip I have ever taken! Everything was managed perfectly and very well planned out by Adventure Journeys. Everyone I came into contact with from this company was amazing! We decided to start our trip with a day tour of Quito and a visit to the equator with our guide, Pablo, who was very knowledgeable and so fun to talk to! We then headed out for the week with our trekking guide, Jorge, who was AMAZING!! He was very energetic, enthusiastic, and so fun! You can tell he loves what he does. He became more like family by the end of the week and was super helpful and patient! We ended our journey with a stay overnight in Papallacta to enjoy the hot springs! Great hikes, awesome views, great company, and a great workout! I would definitely recommend this trip! I cannot wait for my next adventure!

Amazing trip. Our guide David and Julio(our driver) were simply wonderful. David paid close attention to all details of our adventure. He was very supportive and encouraging in our time of struggle. The accommodations were superb and we had dined on authentic Ecuadorian cuisine.
