Our private transportation and National bilingual guide will pick you up from your location and then drive to the cable car north-west part of Quito. It will take us twenty minutes to get there. We will take the cable car and get to 4.050m. (13200ft) hiking trails, swing of the clouds, vegetation and fauna of the Andes Mountains are part of this great adventure.

This is the best representation of the new gotic architecture stile in Quito. Our guide will give you an explanation of the exterior of this building and you'll have opportinity to go up to the towers. Right there, an amazing view of Old town of Quito and other representative places of the city.

Fantastic Quito City Tour!

Patricio took me on fantastic day tour of Quito and the Middle of the World. He was informative and easy-going, and made sure to show me all of the things I wanted to see. We had a great lunch to boot. I highly recommend booking a trip with Ecuador a Color and asking for Patricio as your guide.

Excellent overview of Quito

Our guide, Alex, did a phenomenal job. This tour covered a lot of ground, but at a decent pace. We were picked up from the hotel and our first stop was at the Itinan museum on the equator. Not only did this cover the equator, and provide a lot of information on the equinoxes, solaces, tropic lines and constellations, but also covered the different cultures found in Ecuador. From there we went to the Telefrico, and took the cable car up. It would have been better if mother nature gave us better weather. From there we covered the old city centre, and went through the Bascillica and various cathedrals. The architecture and design is breathtaking, and something you just don't typically see in North America. I was impressed with Alex's historical knowledge on Ecuador, and the locations we visited. I have an MA in history, with emphasis on Colonial History, and it is not easy to impress me. We came to Ecuador for a Galapagos Trip and stayed a couple days after to get a taste of the real Ecuador. This tour did it. Alex provided a wealth of information, while the driver took us from site to site, and while at the locations. He also found us a nice restaurant for lunch, in the Colonial Spanish style. We got back to the hotel on time.

Had a phenomenal day with my tour guide, Vinny. He's very personable, knowledgeable, and super informative. The day was awesome! I felt like I was sightseeing with a friend, instead of solo. I absolutely loved the Basílica del Voto Nacional. It is magnificent! He even let me skip one stop (Compañia de Jesus - which is also beyond magnificent!) because I'd gone solo the day before. I was able to stop and pop into shops for souvenirs with no pressure. We stopped for lunch at a great place in Quito Old Town and had a delicious meal. The Middle of the World tour was fun. I even got a certificate for balancing the egg! I totally recommend this Private and Personalized tour 100%.
I want to go back to Quito already!
I would definitely book another tour with him and do/see something different.

Great experience, first of all, because of the amazing tour guide, Ismael, and secondly because of the amazing places that we visited. For sure, the best tour guide that we ever met and he helped us so much about everything that you need. It is a must trip for the first day of Quito, because it will be easy to learn out the culture, the city and whatever you need.
