Cotopaxi National Park
Due to its perfectly symmetrical cone, covered in a thick blanket of snow and ice, the Cotopaxi is one of the tourist highlights in Ecuador and it’s most visited and climbed volcano. The Cotopaxi National Park is situated in a beautiful paramo plateau, where wild horses graze on the extensive plains at the foot of the volcano or gather to drink at the lovely Limpiopungo lagoon, which reflects the white peaks of nearby Volcan Rumiñahui and makes a great spot for watching waterfowl and other birds.

We had just an awesome time. Even though it was quite snowy and foggy for some of the time, it did not matter. What a great tour. Alejandro is truly the coolest guide too.

It was an amazing experience, beyond my expectations. Alejandro was a really great guide, i highly recommend this tour. He was really friendly and charismatic, he paid a lot of attention to make sure we were okay as well.
Beautiful Cotopaxi

We throughly enjoyed our tour with Alejandro. The views were fantastic and we were very well looked after. It was a little tough climbing Vulcan Cotopaxi with the altitude but Alejandro was brilliant and helped us get to base camp in one piece. He was very encouraging and let us take things at our own pace. The cycle ride afterwards was exhilarating and a great way to end our adventure. A wonderful tour in a spectacular place!
The summit of tours

This was a great experience made easy and fun. Out tour guide Alejandro was highly informative, yes ask him to recite all 96 volcanoes in Ecuador, he knows I let him win the foot race on that last 10m ascent to base camp!
